Emily Anastasi is a visual artist living and working in New York City. She specializes in acrylic painting and focuses on still-life scenes and portraiture. Emily graduated from Bard College with a BA in Studio Art and Art History where her studies focused on the blend between art and technology. Her senior thesis, Immersive Installation Art in the Age of Social Media explored the fascination in experiential installation artists such as Yayoi Kusama and James Turrell, through the desire for multi-sensory experiences and Instagram-worthy art. Whilst creating her own art, Emily is currently employed by Artlogic, an art-tech company, where she works with artists and art galleries from around the world to leverage the power of technology in their practice and workflow.
